Focus on Veterans
To date, we have donated more than $20,000 to our military veterans. To maximize our donation to the veterans, the 2025 race is NOT a timed race. Medals will still be given to the top runners!
Kids 12 & Under Race Free
Family Friendly
- We know that your time in Green Lake is precious so we've made this event family friendly with free registration for kids ages 12 and under.
- 4 on the 4th loves our pups! You are welcome to bring your pup to join you on the walk. (Be aware there will be three-volley salute with rifles at the start of the race. This is a traditional military honorary for veterans.) Be sure to stop at the registration desk for a patriotic neck scarf!

About the Race
- Kick off your 4th of July holiday by joining local and visiting runners as we gear up in support of our military veterans at the 7th annual 4 on the 4th fun run and walk in scenic Green Lake, Wisconsin.
Race Details
- The race will start and finish at Reilly's Pub, located at N4111 Lake Shore Dr, Markesan, WI 53946.
- The race starts at 8:30 am.
Route Information
- Run along the scenic shoreline of Green Lake and enjoy summertime at the lake.
Why We Run
For Those Who Served
The military protects and serves. Our veterans were on the front lines or were stationed on patrol. The freedom we enjoy is due – in large part – to the men and women who have worn the uniform of all branches of the US military.
I come from a military family. Six members all served in the US Navy. I was stationed aboard the USS Nimitz, spending countless days and nights at sea with 6,000 men, serving our country. It was an honor to serve.
All proceeds will be donated to American Legion Post 306 – an organization that continues to support our great veterans.
